Metalset A4 Aviation Grade Epoxy Adhesive by Smooth-On 6 oz Kit. (2x 3oz Part A & Part B Tubes) Metalset A4is a powerful epoxy adhesive that has been used for years by all branches of the U.S. Military as well as every major airline and auto manufacturer in the world.Metalset A4is used for hundreds of industrial bonding applications and offers excellent adhesion to porous or non-porous surfaces. It can be applied to vertical surfaces without sagging and cures overnight with negligible shrinking. Once cured,Metalset A4offers good machining qualities (sanding, drilling, tapping), and resists alkalies, dilute acids and solvents. Applications include stopping leaks in pipes, valves and tanks (i.e. car gas tanks), bonding like and unlike surfaces, filling metal joints, dents, etc., anchoring bolts in wood, concrete, and repairing metal surfaces. Bell Spec – Metalset A4meets all quality requirements and can be certified to Bell Spec 299-947-099 Rev. D (see below for details) Instructions Safety-Use in a properly ventilated area (room size ventilation). Wear safety glasses, long sleeves and rubber gloves to minimize contamination risk. Store and use material at room temperature (73F/23C).This product has a limited shelf life and should be used as soon as possible. A clean, dry surface is essential for successful adhesive bonding. Porous materials are simple to bond, provided they are dry. The surface should be sanded till clean followed by wiping surface with solvent (acetone, MEK, mineral spirits). Let solvent evaporate fully before applying A4. Non-porous surfaces (metals, plastics, coated woods) should be sanded, sandblasted or chemically etched. If sanding or sandblasting, follow with solvent wash. Let solvent evaporate fully before applying A4. Epoxy adhesives do not perform well on metals such as nickel, chromium, tin or zinc or on soft thermoplastics like polyethylene. An option would be to try a polyurethane adhesive (such as URE-BOND from Smooth-On). Because no two applications are quite the same, a small test application to determine suitability for your project is recommended if performance of this material is in question. MEASURING, MIXING, APPLYING… Metalset A4 is mixed one part A to one part B by weight or volume. If dispensing from tubes, squeeze out equal amounts from each tube. Try to be as accurate as possible. Mix thoroughly for 3 minutes to a uniform grey color (no streaks) and apply to prepared surface at a thickness of 1/32 – 1/16 (0.08cm – 0.16cm). Fit other surface over epoxy and apply even pressure using clamps or weights. Handling time is 4 hours. Full cure is 16 hours. CURING… Metalset A4 will cure in 16 hours at room temp. (73F/23C). Applying mild heat will cure A4 faster150F/65C for 2 hours. Post Curing- After A4 has cured at room temperature, heating the epoxy to 150F (65C) for 4 to 8 hours will increase physical properties and performance. Let cool to room temperature before moving bonded substrates, machining, etc. Please see all pictures and message us if you have any questions. Best deal on Metalset A4 on eBay. Buy it now!

Composition: This is made from Strontium Aluminate doped with Dysprosium and Europium, the latest generation of glow powder. This is not Zinc Sulfide powder, so you get a much better quality product. GLOW-IN-THE-DARK Products: Blue Glow-in-the-Dark Pigment Powder is the third strongest glow-in-the-dark pigment powder color on the market. Our glow-in-the-dark pigment powder, sometimes known as a photoluminescent pigment, can be charged and discharged many thousands of times, making it very economical to use. It is the basic ingredient for most glow-in-the-dark products and is used by consumers and businesses to make craft projects, create safer work and home environments, make fishing lures, and hundreds of other extremely useful projects and products. PRODUCT ATTRIBUTES: 1. SUPERIOR LIGHT EMISSION Overall, these pigments are superior in quality (luminosity) and the duration of their glow. After being exposed to light for a short period, it can glow bright enough to light up an entire room, and (depending on the composition of the pigment) it can glow for up to 8 consecutive hours. 2. COST-EFFECTIVE Compared to traditional backup lighting and illuminated signage, this is highly cost-effective. 3. 10-YEAR LIFESPAN & (AFTER CHARGE) Because of its stable crystalline structure, this pigment is highly durable and maintains its high initial brilliance (after charge) for at least 10 years. The shelf life is also 10 years. The pigment is waterproof for a much longer life span. 4. NO HEALTH OR SAFETY RISK Our products are non-toxic, waterproof, and impact-resistant, have no radioactive components, and are non-flammable. 5. EXCELLENT TEMPERATURE RESISTANCE These pigments have been subjected to rigorous testing under temperatures as high as 800°F, and performance has not decreased. 6. PERFECTLY SUITED TO OUTDOOR USAGE & WATERPROOF Outdoor signage does not require electricity or battery power, wiring, or maintenance, and it is 100% reliable. The pigment is also waterproof, securing a brighter glow over its lifespan. 7. GLOWS BRILLIANT UNDER A BLACK OR UV LIGHT MIXING INSTRUCTIONS FOR LUMINOUS PAINTS: Mix with transparent mediums such as acrylic or solvent paint, polyurethane, resin, epoxy, plastisols, powder paint, gels, topical sealers, and or any clear medium that will act as a binder for the pigment. Mix about 20 to 50% of luminous pigment, measured by weight, to the clear resin. This is just a guideline. You could add more or less according to your requirements The mixing ratio for glow powders is 15 to 25%, measured by weight or volume, to the clear medium. Do not grind the luminous pigment. Use containers with ceramic or glass interiors and stir the mixture at high speed. To avoid deposits, you should use high viscosity resins or anti-settling agents. Stir well prior to application, process small batches at a time. Do not use heavy metal components as additives. The more powder or higher the percentage, the brighter and longer the glow will last. Add Medium to powder, not powder to medium. That way, you can stop when the desired glow effect is reached. For best results, use a white or light background. Any color other than white will diminish the glow. If painting a black surface with powders, brilliance will be much less. Use the clearest vehicle possible. Any color in the vehicle will decrease the brightness and length of the glow. The thicker (to a point) the layer of Glow Powder will produce longer and brighter luminosity. Try to prevent moisture in the manufacturing process. A yellowing of resin may indicate moisture. Apply a final clear overcoat to protect the material from humidity and to improve gross. Notice: A glass or Plastic spatula should be used when stirring the powder and printing ink. A metal implement may react with powder. Feel free to contact us with any questions!!
